Is now a good time to buy a new CPU? I know its not for GPUs since pascal is right around the corner, but what about processors?
I plan on playing some overwatch in the near future, and I don't give a fuck about overpriced Zens.

I have a 4690k. Its perfect as long as you aren't planning on streaming games with it. Mines overclocked to 4.5Ghz and its fantastic. Definitely worth the money.

as good as any, but a locked i5 + cheaper h81/h170 mobo would get you better price/performance. overclocking doesn't add much compared to what you have to pay for it.
