What Firefox Addons should I be using?
Images are sometimes not shown due to bandwidth/network limitations. Refreshing the page usually helps.

A great utility if you browse porn galleries is:

URL Flipper

Let's say you have:

www.porn.com/123/001/12

you hold alt or any key you assign + left or right arrow, for example alt + right = loading page:

www.porn.com/123/002/12

Can increment any part of the website, I usually use it for anything that has multiple pages, complements work and is lightweight.

Try Ghostery instead of disconnect, based on my long periods of texting Ghostery is the superior option.

Google Redirects Fixer is a must - basically takes away monetizing and tracking from google - of course excepting the keyword you insert in the search bar, but who cares about that - what you click is more important.

Decentraleyes is a must alongside adblockers.

Right click + N or S loads the save dialog much faster than right click + V or K. I find typing the directory to be easier and less error prone than using the Windows file save nav. Highlight multiple links for batch download (good for 4chan and any gallery site that has userscripts for direct linking). Regex filters.

Right click on an image and then use the keyboard to select an option. V saves image. K saves link. In DTA, S saves image, N saves link. It's fast as hell.
DTA's save dialog has a "save files in" text field that I like using more than the Windows "save as" dialog

>right click > view page info > media >select all >save as
That's OK for the whole page, really weak for saving only a couple images though.

>From what I understand DTA is supposed to help you save links to images, but it never worked for me.
If you're on Firefox nightly then DTA is broken, unless you get the DTA nightly which is half broken. On stable/beta Firefox you should just right click and go to the DTA menu, or highlight a bunch of links and right click

So you installed a downloader solely for the sake of changing two keybinds?

>That's OK for the whole page, really weak for saving only a couple images though.
But why would I use a batch downloader if I only wanted a couple of images?

>On stable/beta Firefox you should just right click and go to the DTA menu, or highlight a bunch of links and right click
I've always been on the stable release channel, when I select links DTA just downloads broken .htmls

No I got the downloader for the rate limits because I had shit internet. I ended up really liking the save dialog. It loads quicker and it quicker to change folders. Now I just use DTA for everything.

>But why would I use a batch downloader if I only wanted a couple of images?
I use the mutli mostly use it for groups of images in galleries. Sometimes there's a series of 5 or 10 images - highlight and download.

This add-on is no longer being supported on Mozilla's version of Firefox. You'd have to switch to Palemoon because it is almost impossible now to get Firefox back to looking like version 3 (according to the dev).

So either become a furry or dont become one. I was on the same boat with you too about this. i would love to be able to have Firefox using the aero theme from Firefox 3.
