I need a bigger workspace, should I get a monitor with higher resolution or add more monitors?
both
I managed 95% of my CS degree with a 13" 1366x768 screen.
What could you possibly need more screen space for?
Depends on your budget and willingness to have 2 different monitors.

>hurrrrr i did cs degree on my shitty macbook
maybe if you ever do some real work, you'll need more than a shitty laptop screen

I used it mainly to write papers and read PDFs, with the occasional SciPy
mostly real work I'd say

So you can have stack overflow open 24/7 on it's own monitor

For a secretary sure.

I think multiple monitors are better than a higher res one, specially if you can flip one and use it vertically

>people like OP thinks the "small" screen is the reason they suck
