check out the 9.7-inch iPad Pro with Apple Pencil. they should both be out for demo at your local Apple Store once April rolls around. the big iPad Pro is more expensive and probably won't be comfortable to use in bed.

the regular Pro is too expensive. if you're just doing some drawing and watching movies, 2 GB is just fine. iOS copes well with low memory conditions. (the worst that could happen is you wait a few seconds when switching between apps.)
