This entire thread is retarded and so are all of you. My first job was writing Perl and it was glorious.
You'll never know the satisfaction of writing a program with zero wasted space. Not needing to name variables or using traditional programming structures is beyond awesome.
I have been learning Scala and it has a little of that feel with it's selection of operators but it still stands in the long shadow of Perl.
