who still uses anti-virus software nowadays? you must computer illiterate to download and install/run things blindly without scanning it first.

On my win7 machine i have UAC on, windows firewall, Malwarebytes anti exploit with spywareblaster. Then scan with MBAM periodically through out the week as an on demand scanner.

If I feel my system might be infected I would use eset online scanner, along with other specialise tools like TDSSkiller, JRT etc.

it feels much better without an anti-virus software running 24/7

If only i had bought malwarebytes life time license key
