>yfw you want to work for Google DeepMind or Bell Labs, but you're too stupid and will probably end up a web dev or Windows admin
>wanting to work for a botnet instead of contributing to the open source community

Gneural Network is literally a joke

Except all of Google's deep learning projects are open source you fucking faggot.
After seeing the P=NP thread where half of the poster couldn't even figure out the algebraic solution (which is wrong anyway because it's not a fucking algebra problem), I'm not sure what to think of this site anymore, anyway

Who is this prosper proctor?

Web dev is far more exciting and engaging than Windows admin. Imagine a job where all your problems are reduced to counting bits, converting bit fields to 4 decimal numbers, and clicking the mouse 100 times to add a new user account to the directory. And you'll probably get fired in 3 years because your boss made you lift CRTs incorrectly so now your back is tweaked and you can't anymore.

>mfw Nokia bought Alcatel and their Bell Labs.
>mfw I'm nokia employee.

tell me about it. I'm a fucking SAP consultant.
I don't know how I ended up here. The money is decent, but every morning I am contemplating whether I should kill myself. Actually I wonder how this company manages to stay in business.
>>53696576
why?
>>53696576
lol at least sap is a tad better than shit.
I work with IBM products, AS/400 and random ERP/SAP alternatives and java EE programming.
I feel like my soul's being drained a bit every day
>got a robotics research position
>do all the bitch tasks, don't learn anything

I do the same as you anon, except with healthcare and EPIC.
Difference is, my peer teams are all so much worse at their jobs that my team can accomplish in a week what takes other teams months. Just work for cash and play at home, and always do your best work. It'll show in the long run
