Got similar specs, the performances are insane, for game and for workstation use.

Went for a 5820k and a good cooler to reach 4,5Ghz, didn't need the 40pci lanes of the 5930K.

Removed my 4790K and motherboard a couple of days back to sell them, as I'm going to get Broadwell-E when it arrives. I was kinda interested in seeing how well my old Phenom II holds up anyway. It's not so bad desu. Can still play just about everything at 60fps, save for WoW and Fallout 4.

my XFX 390 with stock cooler only hits 70-72 after a 2-3 hour session of gtaV, 1080, most settings at max. I thought AMD where supposed to be the housefires and nvidia where oh so cool and efficient.

This is temps with just a browser and speccy running. Keep meaning to add in some mass storage but ive got a 1TB external and it never seems to be a priority.

It's fast af. Overclocked to 4.4 GHz. Can go higher, but have to raise the voltage, which even with my cooling brings core temp above 70, which is too high for me.

Still need to throw some fun workloads at it. The only thing I've really been able it stress it with is synthetics. No CAD models big enough to pose a problem and gaming only really works the GPU. Time to start converting my blurays to h265.

Also, good external USB audio interface. I like that.

Because it's old. Your single threaded performance is terrible. I'm using a G4400 as a temporary CPU for a week or so to swap it out with a 6600K. I'm actually surprised how snappy this dual core is. Speccy is reporting is as an i5 though, rather strange.
