Also that's bullshit. My friend has an xperia z3c. As smooth as my Nexus 5, amazing battery life, and a Decent camera. He's had it for a while without any issues.

This. Z3c sucks. Mine self cracked after 8 months of use and they won't give it a warranty.l and it costed me $150 to replace the screen.

Well, guess I am spoiled with Z3C battery life but I could get about twice as much without issues. Mine is from 2015 though. Not like it's a biggy since 4.5 SoT should be plenty for one day but it's nice when you don't have to think about battery at all.
The biggest pro for me about the N5 is the design though, would get one if they had expendable storage or at least 64GB version.

Dark rooms is not as bad as I expected once i got access to raw.
Another thing, I have always preferred slower shutter speed and lower iso purely for image quality.
