entry level gaming pc. why is this shit?
bump 2
Just make sure you get 16gb RAM, it's going to be the standard in a year or so, if it isn't already.
>>53678742
It is, 8GB is minimum now.
tone down the mobo, a h81 should be cheaper.
8 ram gb is enough.
buy a smaller ssd and try to invest more into a gpu.
>>53678492
Gaming???? Don't use a 740 then. Unless just emu then why i5???
>>53678492
>he fell for the ssd meme
>he fell for the discrete GPU meme
It's shit because it won't turn on.
Computers need electricity.

>>53678492
That pc will run worse than a ps4
>>53678492
can't really game without a psu
>>53678835
as it stands now he can't even turn it on
>>53678851
>>53678797
>>53678742
OP here: psu, smaller ssd , 16 gb ram, anything else?
>>53678933
any advice on the cpu and gpu?
>>53678933
I also prefer to hold my parts in a case. That's just me though.
>>53678492
GPU sucks ass.
>>53678933
still op, what is a good ssd manufacturer?
>>53678960
gpu is literally shit tier. Also never ever should your cpu cost more than your gpu if you want to do gaming
>>53678963
Cases are overrated.
>>53678992
Samsung or intel. Don't bother with anything else.
>>53678992
Crucial BX100 series or Samsung 850 Evo. Also don't buy the BX200 even if they are cheaper, they are bad
>>53678492
get a decent used gpu from ebay for the same price
>PC del futuro
ma quanto sei coglione? Seguire le guide su logicalincrements era troppo difficile?
Aspetta un paio di mesi e compra una gpu migliore

KEK
>2GB of VRAM
Change your CPU to the Core i5-5675C it has an ibuilt Iris Pro 6200 GPU which is more powerful than the GT740. It has also a very low power consumption which means that it stays silent.
>>53679194
Fuck that. A 740 would outperform integrated Iris everyday!
Yeah, its a weak as fuck card but it would play pretty much everything on the lower end of settings.
>>53678933
1080p on a 27" monitor is just bad. I would recommend a 23" or 24" 1080p monitor.
>>53678796
>ssd meme
u wot m8?
>>53678492
everything is good except for the graphics card. that one is absolute shit and wont run anything. get at least gtx 750 ti or amd equivalent.
>>53679358
I think you have no idea just how fucking weak the GT 740 is

>>53679622
Holy shit. I retract it all.
>>53678492
Op use logicalincrements . com ffs
>>53678992
Kingston sucks ass. Intel, Crucial and Samsung are the most reliable.
Most fo the advice ITT is shit btw but I don't have the patience to discuss it so die in a fire OP
>>53678492
You aren't going to be doing any gaming on a GT740.
>>53678796
What the fuck is wrong with an ssd you fag?
>>53678492
get a GTX 750 Ti

You'll be much happier. It's only a tiny bit more, but big performance gains in GPU, and a much more reliable SSD. Also it's an IPS panel display. Basically, strictly better all around.
>>53678492
>GT740
What year is this again? The latest integrated graphics beat the shit out of that card lel enjoy your gaemz

If you want a complete system without a stupid large SSD, this is what I'd do:

Also note: 16GB of ram is completely stupid right now. I know there are people suggesting it, but those people use google chrome with 238 tabs open while gaming and trying to stream to twitch. Just monitor your ram usage and if it starts hitting high numbers, buy an extra stick and plop it in, but not until you need it. Having excess memory does you no good.
>>53680308
It's what OP had initially. I just switched to IPS. Also, I would put anything over 1080p with that GPU. If it were me, I'd just drop to a 24" IPS 1080p panel and put more money into the tower. Monitors are changing rapidly right now and I wouldn't really heavily invest until high resolution high framerate IPS monitors are reasonably priced.
>>53680255
I'd honestly rather run a R7 370 for the same price though you may need 500W. Could probably cheap out on the case; are things really this expensive in yurop?
>>53678492
OP you're more than likely retarded. Don't build anything until you've done more reading. Also don't come here asking for help unless you at state what kind of games you're trying to play.
