I know /g/ isn't exactly an XDA alternative, but I was wondering, with regards to rooting...
What are the advantages of the autoroot method by Chainfire >flash temporary custom recovery, install SuperSU, reflash stock recovery
over simply installing your own permanent custom recovery and flashing SuperSU from it?
Preferences towards Chainfire's autoroot are often stated without reasoning, but it doesn't allow you to
>make a nandroid backup
>install Xposed (although perhaps you could via Flashify?)
Thanks
