Are these good medium quality presets?
Is there more/less I should be doing?
>webmffmpeg -i input.wmv -c:v libvpx -vb 1400K -pix_fmt yuv420p -c:a libvorbis -ab 320k -qmin 4 -qmax 52 -crf 25 -quality good -cpu-used 2 -deadline realtime output.webm
>mp4ffmpeg -i input.wmv -c:v 1400K libx264 -profile:v baseline -strict experimental -c:a aac -ab 320k -qmin 4 -qmax 52 -crf 25 -quality good -cpu-used 2 -preset superfast output.mp4

not needed, that's automatic
sounds about right for medium quality, the bitrate for the audio is a bit high, though
>>53670768
those bitrates can be adjusted, im just wondering about all the other options
is libvorbis automatic?
>>53670807
depends on the version of ffmpeg, the one I'm using has opus as default so you better still call vorbis, to be sure
never heard of -deadline realtime, though

Go to McDonalds.
Is -ab 320k constant bitrate?
Is -q:a 0 variable bitrate? Should it be used instead?
