2 Qs
1 - does it support drag and drop? Nice little convenience factor
2 - how do you copy/cut

>>
>>53672349
no afaik. I don't know how you would expect drag and drop to work in a tui application.

you can copy/cut a file with yy/dd and paste it with pp. You can of course copy/cut multiple files by having multiple selected beforehand. There are also several more options, for example pl will paste a symlink instead, pic related for more pasting options (this shows when you hit the first p to show you options for second part of command). There are also other options for copying and cutting

What operation sysadmin are you using op? Can you upload it to drop box? I see a lot of unique ones posted, where can i make my own custom one?

when i drag and drop it gives some thing on the bottom. Is this a list of files it is going to work with on the next operation?
>>
>>53672666
no. it set a mark (the ' mark) to the location you dragged and dropped into it. if you hit '' (that a ' followed by a ') it should take you there
>>
>>53672682
very strange, considering the location it took me to has nothing to do with what i dropped in. (also, i changed directory with only one ')

Strange controls from what im used to, probable won't switch since i use image previews a lot.

i am reading that it only works with certain terminals. I am still using gnome-terminal as i have never seen a reason to change but it is not working. I believe i set everything up right for it too.

dtfile works for me. GUI's have their place but really file management in Unix is easier on the cli.

Dolphin default. It's changeable with a nice slider.
>is there a command line?
It's Linux...
>how do i use this over ssh?
"Don't." But seriously you can use graphical applications remotely with
ssh -Y [email protected]
as long as you have a local X server running. Xming is the best one for Windows, and *nix and OS X have X preinstalled.

What's that ctrl+p like feature?
Having one graphic pane and launching gui shit into it xdg style is quite clever, good job.
What I do in general is use Firefox for that shit as each invocation get slurped by the running process which makes my workspace quite minimal : a terminal emulator with tmux managing all my shit and Firefox on second monitor for documentation and opening pdfs

Does anyone know how to hack a collarspace and/or a fetlife account? I'm trying to find out more about a couple that I am meeting. It is not my intention to do anything malicious, I just want to get their real names and any other info for my own safety. Thanks in advance!

But bash is a shell and lacks any file management features, my retarded friend. All UNIX file management programs like "ls", "cp", etc are external executables, not included into bash.
