That torch is a AA/14500 battery model. The eneloop Pro 2550 mHA's or whatever they are have the highest capacity. 14500 batteries have a shit capacity but a higher output voltage or something I think.

If so I'd like to say thanks for all your great info mate. I ended up buying a cheap AA/14500 Cree Q5 with 3 mode torch off ali, then got that one from gearbest in the flash sale. Excited for them, especially since they'll be replacing a shitty multi LED AAA torch I have. Since I do shift work at night a pack of 4 eneloops and the Cree Q5 should be plenty, and if I like it enough I'll probably go to a dedicated 18650 torch.

14500 batteries are AA in size usually, and the highest capacity is around 950 mHA, but they output 3.7v. Ni-MH batteries like eneloop pros have 2500 mHA, and output at 1.5v.
I've been reading around and in a AA/14500 Cree Q5 torch you'd get around 30-40 minutes with a 950 mHA 14500 @ 300~lumens, and up to 2 hours with an eneloop pro @ 150~lumens. Does that reflect the battery life you get when you use them in your torch?

I had just transferred some flac files to the player and it said that the file format was not supported and it wouldn't play them.
