Carrier and country dependent. In aus, you can just prepend the number you dial with 1831 to block caller id.

I know it works in Romania, for any Carrier. Not sure If it works for the rest of the world.
In England you can just put 141 infront of the number to do it on a call by call bases. Or withhold in the call setting for a more permanent solution
