The build quality is crap. It will break after few months of normal use. More specifically the plastic can't handle stress.

Exactly this. I took them off to go to the bathroom and they snapped in half like a graham cracker in my big mongoloid mitts. Sound quality was alright though. But they really did only last a couple months.
