Hey /g/, for the past couple of days I have been fidling with Xmonad, and I actually messed up Gnome a little bit ( I am running Debian 8).
I want to change my DE and I don't know which one should I choose ( I have tried KDE, LXDE and XFCE but I dont know, they don't seem to fit (I will be using it daily on my laptop)
I was considering using a tiling window manager, but I am fairly new to Linux and often screw up.

What DE do you use and recommend?

Xfce + Openbox.

If you want to try tiling, give wmii or i3 a go. Just read up on the commands before you install because they throw you in the deep end with no guide on boot.
