What's your preferred modem/router combo?
>Pic related.
The current shitty one I have renting from my isp
ARRIS Surfboard for cable modem
anything with Tomato / OpenWrt / DD-WRT for the router

oh damn the surfboard got more expensive. It was $45 when I got it, it's $64 now

Best router I've used, a bit overkill for what I use it for.
Any good router that supports openwrt

Using a hitron modem and a computer with pfsense to assign ip's and cache webpages and scan files.
After that I'm still using multiple asus rt-n12 routers flashed with tomato shibby as APs.
You think that's bad, you don't know shit op
I'm stuck using this arris piece of shit because I run phone and internet, and there aren't any modem/router phone combos that I'm aware of either

Just bought one of these myself; listen to this anon, he knows what he's talking about.

Same. I just got one to replace a 4 year old Wireless N Netgear that was dropping connections.
Not a fan of the UI, but the router itself is damn good and has been great for my media server and wifi in general.
