HOw do you convert seconds to microwave time?
lets say you have 60 seconds that would be 00:60 but if you have 61 seconds that would be 01:01.
What's the wizardy /g/?
>lets say you have 60 seconds that would be 00:60
4th dimension doesn't have 60 seconds. only 0 thru 59. ask steven hawkings.
I use a temporal abacus to do the conversion but you gotta learn latin first, not for beginners
>>53636400
anon i'm just asking for microwave time
HOw do you convert memes into oc?
lets say you have some memes that would be unfunny but if you have jokes that would be funny.
What's the wizardy /g/?
>>53636297
61 seconds would be 00:61
MICROWAVE GENERAL! POST SOME MOTHERFUCKING MICROWAVES!
>>53636439
microwaves work in the 4th dimension. everyone knows that.
>>53636494
How do i know it? I haven't learnt from you
>microwave time
guy that designed the timer could only count to 59.
>>53636519
And then? FOr how does it work?
>>53636484
yes thats what i said, but its not, it's 01:01, can you explain to me?
>lets say you have 60 seconds that would be 00:60 but if you have 61 seconds that would be 01:01.
There are 60 seconds in a minute. so 61 seconds would be 1:01. Don't get fucking stupid.
>>53636542
you can still just put in 61 seconds on a microwave
>>53636551
Then why not say 61?
>>53636566
No, that's 1:01 it says
>>53636297
werent we all forced to code this once
Time is hard. It's Base 60, Base 24, Base 365, Base 10, Base 1000, Base 30, Base 31, Base 28, Base 12, and various others.
>>53636580
You can put both. Try it on your microwave oven.
>>53636580
>No, that's 1:01 it says
not with any microwave I've ever used
>>53636297
Okay, so here's how it goes.
Let's say you have 1:00.
This means (1*60)+0. So it's 60 seconds.
4:34 means (4*60)+43, so it's 240+43, which makes it 283 seconds.
For the reverse, you do division.
>>53636628
HOLY SHIT
i just want to NUKE MY CHEESE BURRITO FOR 90 SECONDS
WHAT THE FUCK
>>53636635
Okay, so 90 seconds is 90/60.
It goes in there 1 time with 30 left over, so you have 1:30.
>>53636580
its saying 01:01 because 60 seconds = 1 minuite aka (01:00) and one second = (01:01)
its just time in seconds is always in value 0 - 59 when 60 is reached it becomes one minute then measures 1 - 59 minute until one hour etc
factor of time scale on the microwave.
FUCK OFF TO /R/4CHAN
>>53636657
>>53636667
yeah so? what's the big fucking deal?
>>53636680
maybe anon wants to make a computer Ras PI turn into a mirowave lel
>>53636684
its just how time flows man, there is no big deal.
the deal is you need to know basic math. lel
>>53636721
>there is no deal
>the deal is
what
>>53636721
THAT'S NOT ME
FUCK THAT HATER
>>53636297
OP try integer division (90/60 integer division will give you 1) then 90%60.
So 90/60 : 90%60 would be 1:30
Modulus operator will leave you with the remainder of the two numbers you throw at it.
Integer division will give you the whole component.
If you need any more than that, Google "integer rounding." Strict-types languages, if you declare 60 and 90 as integers and store the result in an int, it'll truncate the decimal for you.
I believe in you
Is this the new fizz buzz?
its just a display that shows the seconds.
its not a clock.
Both the minutes and second display have both two digits, both of which could display any number between 1 and 99
All the microwave is doing it counting down and thats it.
It doesn't give a shit if you enter 61 seconds, or 91 seconds or whatever bullshit,
All it does is count down and thats it.
From all the microwaves I have used you press the numbers and they all get shifted to the left as more numbers are entered. Where ever they happen to stop is whatever time they happen to represent.
>>53636836
what the fuck is fizz bizz? Brb, charging iphone in microwave
>>53636873
its a simple test to see a programmers skill.
Basically you count up.
Every time you reach a number that is divisible by 3 or 5 with no remainder you would print out fizz or buzz, or both fizzbuzz
knowing the mod operator would be a huge plus but of course you could solve it using something else to show that you can think of a solution
Having the proper syntax is probably not nearly as important as using your skills to solve the problem.
>>53636587
And you're base faggot
>>53637293
anon why
>>53636950
I don't understand, can you do it for me, and teach me
>>53636297
sage
>>53637336
Yes, that is me that post. I"m glad you can google anon.
Stolen straight fron a YLYL thread on /b/ yesterday. Try harder faggot
