Hi, so I accidentally spilt salsa inside of my PC (I didn't have the side panel on) and I didn't know there was salsa in there at first, so I tried to power on my PC and it turned on for a second and then turned off. Salsa is on the back of the GPU and a little bit on the Motherboard.
I need help figuring out how to properly fix this and what you think is wrong?

You broke your GPU, your mobo, and maybe other things it depends on what the short may have travelled through.
The only way to know for sure is to get a amp/volt probe meter and test components...one by one...and you being from /v/ or reddit or the like, I doubt youre capable of that.
Take out everything except the ram and CPU, this includes disconnecting the hard drives, and see if it boots for me. From there, if it does, add ONE THING at a time starting with your main hard drove, until it doesnt boot.
If it doesnt boot at all with only CPU and RAM, the mobo is fucked.

Only way to know is boot it up with the bare minimum, and if it works add things one at a time until it wont boot.
If that gpu or whatever else was shorted by the salsa I woudld immediately not use them. At all.

Just wash it under running water.
Then, let it dry.
Make sure things really dry before you reassemble and turn on your pc.

You probably fried something. Remove all the hardware from the case and unmount the motherboard. Use a dust free towel and rubbing alcohol to get any residue off you can see. Just to be safe I would let it dry for a full 5 days before you try to power it on again, maybe set it near a heating vent so it can get some warm air to dry faster. Had you realized the spill before you tried to power it on again you probably wouldn't have a problem. The most damage occurs when voltage goes through the circuits that are wet, let it dry completely out and maybe it will work after you clean it with alcohol, but most likely it's toasted from the initial power-on.
By the way do not ever clean your hardware with water.
