I'm surprised by how shitty standards they have on such fragile items.
The drive is doing great for 3-4 years now.
everything i buy gets destroyed / DOA'd in the """ mail """
it's come to the point where i have stockpiled computers i got near free and only buy new-in-physical-store monitors to avoid the bullshit involved with ebay / craigslist
i have no regrets
Meanwhile my R30 arrived wrapped in 2" of thick plastic sheets, then 2 layers of bubble wrap, somewhere in there was the ac adapter, then in tight fitting box, which was surrounded by packing peanuts sealed in a garbage bag inside the box for a microwave or something.
All for a $6.50 laptop. (Maybe thats why shipping was $20)

It's shit, why bother packing it properly lol

looking again, there was another layer of packing peanuts outside the garbage bag

I think I got a RAM stick in a plain bubble envelope once
meanwhile, $3 replacement digitizer for my phone came in a giant solid styrofoam box

>buying second-hand products
>not buying them in rates from official online shops that actually know how to professionally wrap a monitor
I bought a shitty i3 a while back to replace the pentium i had in my toast-top, the fucking thing came in a manilla folder with a layer of thin ass bubble wrap which is pretty bad...then i pull the cpu out and its been duct taped like 5 layers thick. I had to chop, bite, and tug at it to get it out and even bent a fucking pin. I fixed it but seriously, fuck people.
