Better temps and nice and quiet. Plus if you build a small form factor pc you get desktop level temps with watercooling. Let's you overclock if need be. If you're running a single gpu with an atx case there's really no reason to rice so hard but that doesn't mean it's useless.

Even if /g/ does play games a lot of members rely on tech for their paycheck and having outrageously inflated prices on hardware makes it more and more difficult to be in IT especially with the inflated IT market being filled with kids who don't really like tech but are more interested in hearthstone
