So the cunts at Oneplus don't want to replace/fix my phone seeing as how I don't want to run a RAT on my system so I've decided to just do it myself. About a week ago it stopped working. Doesn't power on and only shows a red flashing light when I hold down the power button for a few seconds (while plugged in). Does anyone know what the issue and solution could be?
>fell for the oneplus meme
WE TOLD YOU, BRUH.
On my opx right now and enjoying it
OnePlus has the worst customer service in the industry. They refuse to replace phones that they fucked up designing. Too bad, because their phones are great on paper.

plug the oneplus device in with the original charging device for atleast 1 hour, if this doesn't work. look try with a disposal charging adapter and cable

did that, natha
tried following this guide: https://forums.oneplus.net/threads/guide-mega-unbrick-guide-for-a-hard-bricked-oneplus-x.417648/
however my device manager never detects the phone while holding power + volume up/down. tried on my linux machine using lsusb, nothing there either

if your phone isn't ready to boot or get into fastboot or recovery mode, it's pointless to look with a second device.
you first have to figure out on how to charge your battery again.
is your charging connector maybe fucked up? try to angle the charging a bit and see if it reacts

Ah shit I remember my MotoG did this. It completely drained and wouldn't charge properly.
I left it plugged in for a full night and it booted normally in the morning.
