Selling my rMBP13 because Apple doesn't give a flying fuck about Macs anymore. It's a terrible computer anyway.
$899AU is too expensive for an iPad Pro 9 which I was planning to use exclusively as a drawing tablet and the drawing software still sucks compared to PC offerings, so I will be keeping my Surface 3 for another year.
iPhone 6s+ is fine, nothing special. Android is fucking hopeless post 4.4.

By not iOSifying it, by giving it proper optimization, by not locking shit down with each newer version (see rootless).
It was almost perfect with Mavericks then they took a giant shit on OS X with Yosemite and polished it slightly with El Cap.
I appreciate OSX. I use hackintosh, because to be fair I spent a fucking month trying to get comfortable on linux and Windows offers me nothing more than games which at the end of the day are not that necessary.
I also appreciate their trackpads. It'd be nice to see how one of those magic trackpads work but frankly spending 60 bucks on that thing when I already spent that amount of money on my mouse and I do some editing sounds like a waste.

I would suppose so, after all it's a different design.
I'm using hackintosh and while I find it pretty comfortable I really really could do with better performance. A computer capable of maxing out GTA V with no trouble is giving me problems with a 9 year old native OSX game, it's nuts.

Even on real Macs, OS X native games are fucking shit, they make the computer run a lot hotter, get much lower frame rates and more input lag.

That is wrong in every sense.
Native builds are always faster if built to the same quality. For example, Divinity: Original Sin native mac build runs better on my macbook. Even when running windows with it.

Got it, I recall trying Tomb Raider 2013 on WINE on OSX and it was a pretty horrible experience, then tried it on Xubuntu and I was getting pretty much the same exact "performance" if you could call it that. So maybe the system itself might not have a problem at all, just shit ports.

Well yeah.. I love maverick's design and the only thing that i love from yosemite is that you can change your taskbar color into black.
I don't use OSX for gaming, so i didn't really understand what you meant there.. As i'm using a macbook air for work (and a pc for gaming..)

Not sure. I would assume that the real problem comes with not using legit Apple hardware, but then many people are pretty fucking alright with it.
If I take something like CS:GO, that can reach 200fps on windows at max settings, I will get drops below 50 all the time in OSX effectively making it kinda unplayable, while some other people around forums are just fine with it.

I think at this point they really should change the steam application. It's slow on any OS, its style doesn't fit with anything, skins are update dependant so they can break often enough, there's a grid view but nobody uses it because it looks like shit. The steam store looks different than the application as well. It's dumb.
Also I should find out if there's even a way of installing different drivers, I'm using an r9 280x myself. Heard only nvidia provides web drivers though.

The responsiveness of the screen largely depends on the manufacturer, mine works like a charm.
Plus navigation on this thing is a lot better and faster than what car makers use, plus maps are always up to date unlike NAV systems.

The only really good thing Apple make are their laptops. The rest are overpriced beyond all sense. They've also been making some pretty poor design decisions recently so I doubt even their laptops will continue to be good. I own a 13" retina pro but I certainly wouldn't buy anything else from them.
