The iPad is the only thing I've ever owned (well, also Kindles) that I don't need more battery life on. Adding more battery would make it heavier. So I'd rather they just hadn't put in the new camera, or make it thicker but fill that space with something useful like speaker chambers or a syrup dispenser.
