The Apple Keynote (where they announce new products and updated products) happened, and the only things announced were a shitty budget iPhone, and a slightly more powerful iPad, which was the focus of the show. Most people were expecting updated Macbook Pros, and Macbook Airs to be the focus.

They are devices more akin to computers on lease from someone else. You can use them, and the owner/leasing company will ensure they function properly, but it's not really yours to do with as you please. Also god forbid you try to change anything in it, thus ruining the fun for all the other users.
