I installed Linux on my 5 year old alienware. Then like 2 weeks later my Laptop will not boot whatever i do. One of the GPUs (Nvidia dedicated or the intel graphics) is dead.

Did arch linux do this to my laptop?

remove battery, plug in adapter, hold power button, post results

Good news if it boots up is, it booted up

Bad news if it does boot up is,

Possibly.
I installed Linux a few years ago, and then went to install Windows 7 shortly afterwards.
Now my screen is blank until the logon screen, I can't even see the POST or BIOS screen.
