Not really, just aged. They still handle gaming, rendering, and other task just fine. I personally still use my FX 8350 because it handles streaming with OBS really well. But again, they are aged and need replacing.

For my daily use (AutoCAD, Rendering, internet and casual gaming) they are just fine.
I'm still rocking mi FX 6300 paired with an r9 270x.
Using a FX8350 right now, works good, does everything I want it to, can't afford an Intel desu and the £/performace isn't good enough to switch either. Just bought a R9 380 (was HD7870) which will keep me going for a while, next upgrade will be around xmas and be a Zen.
