Someone recommend me a decent mITX motherboard for a gaming build that doesn't cost an arm and a leg

I want that board but unfortunately it seems to be rare now that 1150 is out.
Hopefully I can find one bumming around in a store somewhere.

i got that board, its shit.
you cant build an gaming itx rig, the temps are a joke.

This.

I have a 3770k in a Node 304, overclocked to 4.5GHz and it doesn't break 75 running Prime95.

gaming hardware must be cooled properly, u cant do this in an itx without building it 2 big.
my gpu had 80° without overclocking and the watercooled cpu 65°. mobo around 80°

Custom pipes? What?
Those are 20 dollar fittings with cheap PVC added onto them.

>>

So pick one that has a good power delivery circuit you dingus. It's not like all ATX sized boards are magically good.

>less RAM slots
Yeah, because that's so relevant. 32GB you can get in current gen boards is enough, and will be enough for a long time, for a gaming build.

>Case ends up cramped
Irrelevant

>Not even any cheaper
True
>>
>>53584992
>Buy a good case and not a meme one
Then that drives the cost up. So you end up paying more for the same performance.

I don't know how some fucking dickheads manage to bungle an itx build.
I have an i5 4690k that I overclocking and an r9 nano inside a 4 litre case and when I actually THOUGHT about the airflow, the cfm and rpm of my fans and my cpu heatsink I got away with fine temperatures.
Cpu over clocked goes to 60 under load
Nano goes to 70 under load
These are good temperatures considering the wattage they're demanding and the space they're in.
Stop bitching about how you're a failure story, pussies.
>>
>>53585049
The size of the case itself won't considerably affect the cooling properties.
Get a case that has good ventilation.
Get a graphics card that fits the case.

If you make bad choices then you will end up with a shitty solution. You made bad choices.

>>
why does no one make a smaller itx or matx case where you get proper fucking airflow?, like 2x 140 or 120mm fans in front, 2x same on bottom and top or sides and exhaust?

>hay guis lets block the front from intake air
>ok bossman sounds like solid idea ill get vlad right on this
>>
>>53585158
You don't need front airflow when you have bottom and back and top airflow
>>
>>53585124
loud
>>
>>53585166
thats airblow, I said airFLOW
>>
>>53585158
Because you only need two case fans total.
>>
>>53586329
lmao no
>>
>>53586341
>lmao
Yes. More fans is just diminishing returns after the first.
A second still gives a decent return, three onwards is just not worthwhile.

This is not counting fans on rads of course. But then you'll only get a 240mm rad into an mITX case at best anyway.
>>
>>53586384
you want enough fans to push enough air (through filter too, so pressure matters a LOT)
Enough to move slightly more air in and out of the case than everything inside your case's fans will be able to push

but i guess being an autist youre too busy sucking cocks
>>
>>53586428
Actually so long as the warm air can escape upwards it doesn't really matter.
As long as you can keep the ambient temperature inside the case the same as outside, which doesn't require much, then you have reached the limit of what case fans will provide.
>>
>>53586465
>53586465

fucking lol
"warm air goes up hurr"

Yes, thats is entirely correct, IF THERE IS NO WIND YOU SPASTIC

In computer cases air goes where you push it
Kinda like that cock down your throat.
>>
>>53586545
Um, warm air still rises even if it is in an airflow.
And all the fans on components like GPU and CPU should be pushing either up or out of your case anyway.
So I don't know what your problem is, other than being completely retarded and failing school.
>>
>>53586649
youre dumber than a pack of americans in a line trying to figure out how chipped cards work m80
>>

no OC? get any of the other Asus, Asrock or gigabyte.

stay away from MSI

I'd recommend selling one of your kidneys. It's far more profitable and you won't regret it that much.
>>
>>53584601
That board is great for mini itx gaming. You must be retarded.

Also the board has nothing to do with how well your cpu or gpu is cooled.

I had a mitx "gaming rig" in the Corsair 250D. Complete with H100i, temps were TERRIBLE. Granted, I got a really, really bad chip that runs really hot, but it was still disappointing. Also, working in mitx cases is a nightmare, and you're limited in the amount of RAM and drives you can have.
>>
>>53590564
Mitx is fine. 6600k with a 380x inside sg-08 lite. Temps are no different from any other speccy I see posted. If you need more than 32 GB of RAM why would you consider mitx anyfuckingway? And I could easily put 10 TB of storage in my case.
>>
I wish they made mITC for X99 :'(
>>
>>53590991
They do. See: asrock. But 200+ Watts inside mitx is really pushing it.
>>
>>53591024
I don't trust asrock boards.
>>
>>53591040
At this point, they are no worse than any other brand. Asus is shit now, just go read all the negative feedback everywhere. And MSI can't handle uefi still.
>>
>>53584142
mITC are shit. No room for airflow. Shit will overheat easily. You want at least a atx especially for gaming.
>>
>>53591096
Do they still have terrible BIOS looping issues? I still can't figure out the BIOS looping issue on my brothers fatality board. Sometimes entering BIOS and restarting without saving changes works but sometimes it just needs to loop 5 or 6 times.
>>
>>53591148
Had mine for awhile now, no problems. Try clearing CMOS and check for BIOS updates is all I can tell you.
>>
Don't want to make a new thread, and it is mobo related.
I've googled and mostly what I gathered is that 'sponsored reviews' are plenty.

My question is:
I want to upgrade my PC, and looking to get 6600K CPU. What would be a good ATX motherboard for it? Under 200USD if possible. Please ask away if you need some clarifications.

>mITC
>>
>>53590564
Those are considerations you take into account when you decide to build mITX.

If you build mITX and then decide you need more RAM or drives then you made an error. It is nothing wrong with building that form factor.
Frankly as far as I am concerned you don't need more than either 16 or 32GB RAM for your PC (even gaming PC) and two to three internal 2.5" drives are sufficient, USB 3.0 or gigabit LAN is fast enough for external 3.5" so storage isn't an issue.
