I've been using Debian as my first Linux distribution after switching over from Windows, and I am really enjoying it. I've gotten used to it now and I think I'm going to be a Debian tard for the rest of my Linux days. Sidenote: I've been using Centos 7 as well, have heard great things about it as a server distro, but also many good things about Debian as a server distro and haven't been able to differentiate much difference between them other than ones RPM (Red Hat) and the other isn't. I've also heard Centos has better security for web-servers than Debian? True?

Why would you use BSD? It's shittier and lacks the utility of Linux or Windows. There's absolutely zero advantage to using that as an OS. No games, no programs that work on it, etc. It has none of the positives of any other OS and doesn't even have functionality that can compete with the others.

The fact is that you can't. Using BSD is just retarded. It's old and outdated and hasn't even been relevant since the 1980s. While every other OS advanced and changed BSD just stayed the same old shit and hasn't done anything to advance. BSD isn't better than Linux, and Linux isn't better than BSD. Both are great, which you use comes down to your preferences and use case. I prefer OpenBSD, and it suits my use case just as well as Linux would, so I use OpenBSD. One of the best ways to sum up my preference is that BSD is what you get when a bunch of Unix hackers sit down to try to port a Unix system to the PC. Linux is what you get when a bunch of PC hackers sit down and try to write a Unix system for the PC.

I use OpenBSD because I prefer it. That's it.It's not for some stupid epeen, it's because it's what I prefer to, like to, and want to fucking use. That's not to hard of a concept to grasp.
There is no such thing as a best OS atm. Just best ones for certain use cases.
