Correction: It's been dead for quite some time but now they have buried it. The only way to resurrect it is to start selling cheap 640's globally. Something along the lines of "Bring an old Lumia and get a 50% discount on 640." Otherwise it's gonna stay dead as nobody's going to be buying 550's, 650's or 950's since everyone recognizes those are shit for the price they are trying to sell them.

Windows 10 works fine on my Lumia 925, but I've found that the camera is prone to crash the system every now and then. The screen turns green and I have to soft-reset it back into function, and the last photo taken disappears. Also the default Camera doesn't seem to be as good as the Lumia Camera app in terms of autofocus during video and the like.
Other than that, no real issues. But I use the camera a lot, so that wasn't optimal for me. Battery seemed to drain a bit faster, so I flashed the phone back to 8.1 Denim.

Lucky. I got my 640 for 30$. I think the 640 are going cheap since it got replaced by the 650.
how is the file explorer on windows phone 10? is it good or shit?
Do Windows Phones have any possible chance of recovery over the next few years? ... or is it completely dead in the water forever?

I've read something about how Microsoft got screwed because the license for Nokia drivers ended and they couldn't port the drivers and update the firmware to Windows 10. Therefore, they had to pay Nokia again to license them and it was just not worth it.
