ITT: Retards who don't download lossless FLAC and convert it themself to ogg for mobile phones/tablets/etc.

Mp3 is cancerous nonfree software and it should die.

I prefer FLAC because it allows me to burn a perfect physical CD for my car, or transcribe to Ogg for my phone. If you don't have 4TB+ storage in 2016 than don't bitch. A quality 4tb external that can hold all the FLAC you want is less than 150 dollars.

It's OK to do the best with what you can afford, and you have, pretty reasonable purchases.

It's not OK to tell people that 5.1 audio is "the best shit ever", when your "best shit" doesn't even include stereo bass.

A dual-tower, 6-driver setup is superior, and takes up less space. Not only that, it's more likely to be accurate to the original master, stopping the user from "improving" by modulating the volume of certain ranges.

I torrent flac for my stereo and also subscribe google play music (320k mp3) for my phone.
Tried a pin jack to rca adapter from my phone to tape in of my stereo (analog to analog) but it sounds like shit. Much worse than listening to a cd burned from mp3 files. (mp3 cds > Friends give them to me and I try to appear like I appreciate it) This tells me that my phones DAC is much more limiting than lossy vs lossless bitrate in terms of audio quality. And if you can't tell the difference between flac and mp3 on your phone, nobody should give a fuck.

It was a bitch to find a way to losslessly mux the audio directly from the .m2ts files into multi-channel FLAC without transcoding.
Now I just need to step up my surround sound game to justify reserving 2GB+ of HDD space on these.
