Why don't you have 128GB of RAM, /g/?
>>53570074
If you can find a use, no matter how shitty the uses are, to use up even 28 gigs of ram at the same time, I'll be fucking impressed.

ROWHAMMER

64GB is more than I ever need. But since I use mini-ITX I have to settle for 32.

Because I'm not going to open 60 exes of Crysis 3 while rendering a 5tb video in Sony Vegas anytime soon

RAMDIsk.
>>53570129
I've had debug compiles use up that much RAM at my workplace.

I think the only genuine reason for needing that much RAM (or even more) is for oil/geomapping, where your RAM basically limits the size of the land you can survey at once. For such cases you can even get computers with up to 2TB of RAM.

I wish. The ramdisk potential would be insane, especially if you don't power your system down often.

Because my chipset has a hardlimit of 8GB.

Rather spend more money on the cpu/gpu on a budget build thb

i don't run 50 VMs
>>53570074
I would use it for experience replay for my DQN learning agent. Or for a really large recurrent neural net model. There is never enough RAM.

Store a 10^3 x 10^4 x 10^4 voxel world, 1 byte per voxel, no compression. That's already 100 GB.
With compression you can buy yourself more space, but still RAM limits you.

Try compiling android.

You're gonna need it with Microcuck Winbloat 11
