Fucking this. I couldn't give a shit about how current hardware is, just give me some motherfucking legit fully FLOSS OS running on open hardware and I'll be happy.
Is anyone other than FSF's Replicant even trying this? I've looked into Sailfish (closed source UI), Plasma Mobile/Active (practically no dev community, not fully libre), Tizen (proprietary blobs/kernel so fuck that)... is there anything out there aside from the goddamn OpenMoko phones (that look like a toy!) that are even close to getting us a libre OS?
A fully libre Android phone. That's the fucking future.

Iirc some Memepads have a small battery inside that stops it from going out while you swap the bigger battery

Wasn't Firefox OS phones supposed to be this? Besides, what's the point? You can still get tracked by your carrier through the cellphone towers. They can record your calls, sms, emails, whatever. Unless done transparent carrier exists that I haven't heard of.

Notice he said he wants two batteries in the phone. If you keep one in and pull the other the phone obviously still has power

I had a laptop where you could pull the floppy drive and CD drive and add an additional two batteries, pretty sure some ThinkPads can do that too

Add a 13MP+ camera, gps, pdf/books reader, a nice music player and 100+ GB microSD support with a battery lasting for 2-3 days and it would be my dream phone.

I forgot about Firefox OS. I tried that one out, too. It was okay but sluggish. In its defence I ran it on top of Android via installed apk, maybe it's better on a Firefox OS phone.
As for your carrier spying on you:
Calls: Signal
SMS: Signal
Email: APG

All that and runs crashbotnetdoid. lol.

Literally this but I want a decent barebones browser too if I need to check for info or log into my bank account. Also less than 10mm thick and lightweight is a must.
I don't play kusoge or watch vids on my phone so it'd be ideal.
