I'm building a PC for 3D modeling, video editing, music production, and gaming and it's coming out to about $2000.
Here's my build: http://pcpartpicker com/user/reyrufobueno/saved/gwQp99
Is there any bloat I should be getting rid of? The monitors are a bit off I know, I just need two IPS 60hertz monitors and one needs to be adjustable to a vertical orientation, any recommendations?
i would like to fuck your keyboard
>inb4 gayman mouse
I need the extra buttons for shortcuts
Also, I'm planning to upgrade from a 1080p display later on as well as implement some SLI for muh future-proofing

>That SSD
Nope, get anything but that. I have it and it's pretty shit
>>53543945
That's not his keyboard. Old pic.

You need a better cooler for that cpu. Go look up how much power it sucks down when it's overclocked. That ssd sucks balls. Get some better ram. It's retarded to get a 980ti at this time. Stoopid colored fans also. Seagate? haha. Paying for win7? hahaha kmspico or dazloader for that shit.

any good air coolers for overclocking? I hear liquid cooling requires regular maintenance and between my fiancée and I they won't be opening it up all that often to clean the loop.

Stay with aircooling, just get a bigger one from same brand.

Look at the 160watt level as that's what you will be at. I would stay away from aio's. Not worth the hassle and expense for not better cooling. CLC is the way to go with water, but expensive. Air is reliable and safe.

thanks, looking into it

What SSD should I get? I hear Samsung isn't that great, and need a bit more than half a TB of space on it.
What's wrong with the memory I have on the build? Just curious. I just put the 980ti for a ballpark estimated price, I'm buying all the essential components first then buying a video card after pascal. My fiancée has an old AMD card which we'll be using in the meantime.

Samsung Evo are great, what are you talking about?
>>53546026
Samsung 850 is fine, they have alot of fans. Historically, they had firmware failures, but they supposedly have that sorted out and they are good. If I were you, I would try to find a Crucial mx200 or even bx200. Or ideally Intel, but that shit ain't cheap. Not a shill but go to newegg on mobile, they have great sales on that shit all the time. It might take 2 weeks to find a good ssd, but they do.
Ram-It's ddr4, go for the high mhz benefits. 2400-2800 range would be a cheap upgrade at your price range. Get the lowest timings.
For gaming would an 13 15 or xeon be better?

I assume you meant i3 and i5, you fucking tard. Second off, this isn't a tech support board you mong. Go to /wsr/ with this shit.
Also, you should ask them to give you some English lessons.

Jesus you think this was reddit the way you people spurg out over spelling errors.
Also this thread is literally tech support faggot.

When 3rd world niggers from /int/ and /pol/ can spell better than you, you deserve to be sperged out on.
OP actually knows shit about computers, unlike the /v/ tard you're defending.
