Lost it at 0:12 in. AMD has an entire team dedicated to making games run better on AMD hardware?

Imma gonna keep shit posting as I watch

>We are committed to the open source
Which is why AMD drivers are so well supported in the OSS ecosystem.

>Closer to the metal
Wasn't that the point of Mantle? And Vulkan? And DX12? Is this a Meme at this point?
>Console GPU's
So we're making PC gaming and Console gaming the same? The whole point of the Graphics API is so that we can standard the access to the GPU so PC doesn't need standardized hardware.

This is the fundamental problem with CLOSE TO DA MEME. If you get too close you alienate 99.9% of the market which doesn't own the 1 card you used in development.

Something hard to understand about that?
Engineering technology to work well specifically in gaming situations.

>AMD is committed to open source. The ability to access source code is a key requirement for game developers. MOST of our code is open source

>Community engagement is key. The corner stone is gonna be a monthly shitpost on our forum.

>We want developers to have access to tools that aren't exposed. But we know they're there. So we'll work with our partners to expose them
WTF NIGGA? You don't even know what features your GPU has?

TL;DR AMD released some OSS tools that they won't support because that costs money. Nobody will use these outside of 2-3 shops which are already attached to AMD at the hip. They'll rapidly fall out of relevance.

:.:.:

Open Source the entire driver if you want to make progress and win over developers.
