I've never used any RSS readers, but I really should.
I love twitter, but I only use it as a news aggregator, I don't actually post or participate. The only people I follow are new organizations and journalists.
I've dabbled with Feedly on android, but wasn't exactly happy with it.
Really, I just want a way to pipe news and content related to my interests into my face every morning.

1. Convert your twitters to RSSses: https://twitrss.me/
2. Install:
a) Thunderbird if you are oldfag
b) 'tt-rss' if you are hipster

I'm using feedly. It works but it's not the greatest. The site makes my browser chug for no good reason.
somewhat related, not worth new thread,
how does /g/ manage their bookmarks?
>>53518704
a big clusterfuck with some folders and the majority not organized

I actually like tree-styled tabs, only don't use them because I have a terrible, old monitor and need the screenspace.
but...

I have way too many bookmarks for that

Your tabs don't restore?
I use RSSOwl.
It's much better on the resources and computer than a Browser addon reader which breaks shit constantly.
Has plenty of fuctions too.
You could also go QuiteRSS, though RSSOwl is better in UI if you are doing any of that desktop ricing shit.

Not op, but this is actually useful. Many thanks.

>need screenspace
There's the auto-hide tabs option and it will only show the tab bar when you hover your mouse to the left (or wherever your tab bar is/keyboard shortcut) then the beyond australis addon that also auto hides nav bar so you'll only see the web page
I have the same problem as OP, but i don't actually have good sources beside word of mouth.
What are good feeds for Europen news and tech news.
Every time I look for feeds I get spam where 5% of the information is things I care about aka real news rather than opinion pieces
