Can anyone tell me if these things are good? I'm looking to replace my 2009 iMac and don't want something big and bulky.
definetly better than the imac
though shittier than other things that you can do with mini pcs
just build your own

Its all laptop parts, just like the imac. They are pretty good as long as you dont need super high performance, just like on a mac.

They're really overpriced for what you get, which is not much. You have to add your own RAM and storage, and at that point you're paying twice as much as you would for a fully equipped miniITX. No discrete GPU, either.

bought one for cheap, using it as a htpc/dvr, works great.
Maybe usff dell/hp with vesa mounting kit on some nice ergotron arm?
They're incredibly tiny. I have a NUC6i5SYH.
The only problem is, xorg drivers are outdated, and are currently not supported for skylake graphics. Fedora hangs on me all the time, same with SUSE and other distros. The WiFi and Bluetooth drivers are also messy.
I recommend buying a last gen if you want Linux support out of the box.
Thanks for the replies everyone. I'm only looking to use it for web browsing and a bit of photo editing here and there, so it doesn't seem like a bad option.
Go for the new skylake ones. They have much improved iGPUs compared to previous gen.
Mate got one and it couldn't even play 1080p smoothly.
Beware.

that's not even USFF model. It's a micro Dell 9020.
