My cable did cost moar then my CLC.
Buying in the US from canada is horrible

I was mistaken anon when we talked last time. Daily OC 4.5ghz@ 1.34vcore.
Might try to lower that 4.8ghz vcore soon.
The real challenge seems to get my 2133mhz ram stable with the OC.

BUT

Velcro does just as good.

AIOs are shit. The vast majority don't perform as well as air coolers, are noisier than air coolers (pump noise + fan noise is not insignificant), and are more expensive.

There are some reasons to get one, for instance you're building an ITX system that is space constrained around the CPU, but in general, they are shit.

Hey /guts/ i come here in need of your advice. Should i get the phanteks enthoo evolv atx with a h80i gt/h100i gtx or the deepcool genome? Price and performance is pretty similar but i'm intrigued by the genome's ability to mount GPUs vertically. So which one?

I have the Evolv ATX, and haven't used the Deepcool before, but I think you'll be better off with the Phanteks model. Aside from the top notch build quality (and lower price) you don't have to worry about that integrated cooling solution failing at some point in the future and messing up the aesthetic of your build. I think the Evolv ATX will give you more room to do things overall.

Gee thanks!

but in all seriousness it's not nearly as retarded as it seems. certainly one of the largest mITX towers, but it looks solid and it's incredibly well built.

I'm going back to my previous case (Hadron Air) and ordering some watercooling parts + making a custom front bezel for it.

pic related, old build w/ Hadron

I get good temps, surprisingly. On stock clock my CPU never goes over 40C, and idles around 25. My GPU idles around 30C, and never really loads over 80C. If it does, it's only maxed out at like 82C. Thermal throttling starts at I think 90C on those cards or 95, something like that. And it's not too noisy either. Not entirely silent though. I'm looking to water cool for better GPU temps and help reduce the noise a bit.
>>
>>53512178
AiO coolers look cleaner than the large air coolers that perform as well or better in some cases (like the NH-D14 or newer D15). And since /guts/ is full of pretentious fags, of course they're going to go for looks over pure functionality.

H440 master race.

Excuse the ugly cooler at the top, pulled it out of an old case to get some better outtake.

Technically I did pay more for cables than my cooler, since I bought an 80 euro psu to have modular cables.

I know the SM951 is ugly in green, don't care.

>>
>>53537675
Getting pissy about the brand of someones components is the real meme.
>>
>>53538001
Their products are consistently of lower quality and higher price than their competitors. They survive solely on marketing through appealing to teenaged (or manchildren) 'gamers'. They also actively viral on /g/.

If you own a Corsair product that you paid market price for you have fallen for this viral marketing.
>>
>>53538082
I bought corsair things from my friends cause they match my aesthetic

But most of their stuff is equivalently priced.

A $100 corsair case has basically the same features and build quality as any other $100 case. A $10 corsair fan is the same as most other $10 fans.

Their computer components aren't really branded as "gaming" and are typically just solid colors and straight lines.

Now if you are talking about their peripherals then yea. Corsair mice, keyboards and headsets are marketed at "gamers".

They're both 980 Ti Hybrids that I intend to put away as soon as the GP100 cards come out early next year. I don't want to go through the bother of draining the loop in order to replace them. That's why I left both of my 780 Ti Classys and my 770 pair with the stock fans.
