The LG Optimus was my first smarthphone when 1.6 was new, the fuckin thing was on a custom 4.4.4 AOKP rom.
The S Advance was SHIT, utter shit, the worst phone i ever had...came with 2.3.6, was upgraded to 4.1.2 and died, the CPU it had was when exynos was just a plan, they launched the S3 mini and another phone with the Novathor CPU and the Sony and Ericsson split, samsung just went fuck it and abandoned development.
The community was ok, since there were several phones with the same SoC, but the main developers were shit, always competing, always bitching and so on.
The Z2 is the first Smartphone i have kept stock (apart from root)
Was a bit of a Sony Ericsson fan in my teens so I had those three, the third is my favourite non-touch phone.
The first I got for my 12th birthday and was the hottest shit on birthday parties since I knew how to pirate games (From Moblie9 I think).
The second was kinda aimed at games and it had "Johnny does Texas", which I am trying to find for Android but no luck.
The third was by far the best, me and my friend made custom themes, filmed videos and edited them in After Effects CS3, I even had a tripod for it.
The Huawei was my first touchscreen and besides the battery being unusable after three months it was pretty nice.
The LG was a damn good phone for 1€ with a cheap contract, still have it for backup.
And the OnePlus One is my fave of the bunch, don't see a reason to upgrade any time soon.

I bought into the N97 hype and wow was that phone a piece of shit.
Phone size comparison tool didn't seem to work for my old phones.

I'll admit that the N5 is the perfect form factor and still my favorite Nexus phone by far, but the shit battery and mediocre camera were enough for me to move on. That and my N5 has a faulty power button that causes random reboots.
I pretty much kept trading for a better and better phone. I blew it on the S6 though as I thought the Note 4 would be an upgrade.
Only money spent was on initial iPhone 3GS and a few SIM cards.
What phone should I get in 2020?

Man that SE k750 was my favourite. The last time I remember the era where you can skip your music track by long press on volume buttons, why did they get rid of that???? Easy pocket access to change tracks.

Started cell phoning back in 2003. The first phone was only a loaner; I really wanted the Nokia first. I eventually switched to Palms, and kept using them up until HP gutted them. The Samsung Note 4 was my first Android phone, and only because of the pen. I miss having a physical keyboard.

I just upgraded from the Nexus 4 to the 5. The 4 served my needs perfectly running Cyanogenmod, until I dropped it and disabled part of the touch sensor. I really don't know why I even needed to upgrade. The 4 never lagged or anything. But a refurbished 5 is so cheap now I figured I may as well.
