Been using PIA but realised it blows, any better suggestions?
>>
I set up my own on a digital ocean vps. Costs me $5 a month, and I can create as many client certificates as I want. (OpenVPN)

Also there's a project called streisand on github that automates the whole process.

Torguard 60 bucks a year

Will op , I'm in the same case with right now
Been using PIA for year, good and all but the fact that it's burgerland based is no-no to me.
So I did little research and here is:
Perfect privacy: the best, up to 25 simu clients and secure, cons, expensive and no clear data about timestamp

Airvpn: after I try it, it's BS.
NordVPN: same as above.

Privatoria.net: look good, but they look amateur and very poor support.

Cryptostorm: one simu client, shady people behind it.
Proxy.sh: history of attacking their users, poor support.

The remaining is just garbage and not Worth it.

So I may go with perfect privacy .

How do you use VPN, what software?

VPN Gate

OpenVPN + VPN Gate

>>53505622
Privacy you mean.
You think they don't care but in fact are monitoring you, if not you ISP, the advertisment companies, NSA, GCHQ, and the list goes on.

So, how do you use VPN, through some specific software?
>>
A VPS. Make sure you setup your own DNS too. The IANA root supports DNSSEC but OpenNIC's servers don't. It's a shame, really.

I would suggest use L2TP+IPSec, but the newest version of OpenVPN that supports non-NIST ciphers is also a good option.
>>
>>53505714
You can use OpenVPN as a starter.
>>
>>53505716
Thats useless, the vps is registered by your real info, defeat the purpose of the VPN t.b.h

>>
>>53505977
Bitcoin isn't anonymous, anon, by its nature, in fact its totally the opposite, unless you mix it ( which can be traced) it is totally public.
And if you're going to pay bitcoin, why to bother with VPS in the first place, just get a VPN.
And you know VPS isn't like a dedicated server it still can be logged out of your control.

PIA

It doesn't suck like faggots in this thread are saying; they're just angry they can't shitpost on it because it's blocked on 4chan and shitposting on a Pass would just ban the Pass. Get fucked retarded faggots.

PIA is the fastest and best VPN unless you're distributing CP then maybe mullvad or your obscure 3rd world country VPNs with 56k speeds are warranted.

From the page you post
> When you purchase our service, we save your IP address. We need to do this in order to minimise credit card fraud. We do not store any card details on our servers - we use a secure token verification instead. Every time you start our service we track the time and the amount of data you consume, because we monitor our network to be able to forecast traffic growth and maintain a good service.

In the contrary, take this small VPN provider

You sounds like typical burgers
>PIA
>USA
>No PGP key
>Its hassle to configure stronger encryption than AES-128 if you use OpenVPN

PIA is good, but the fact that it is in US, its BS, thats a fact.
>>
>>53506174
My main concern would be logging of IPs when connecting, which, according to their policy, is not the case. I'm just using it against content restrictions and for torrenting mostly - I think it's sufficient for that.
>>
>>53506243
PIA has zero history of ever keeping logs nor handing over data.

Your conspiracy theories belong on /x/.

PGP is useless for anything but buying drugs on tor marketplaces. No one will use PGP messaging applications to talk to you and no one will respond to your emails if they are PGP encrypted.

Sorry for your loss.
>>
>>53506381
>PIA has zero history of ever keeping logs nor handing over data.
You never knew, you have to trust, Anon. and sorry to burst your bubble, but ever heard of NSLs (National Security Letters)? it is a gag orders, which forbid the recipient from talking about the request.

>>53506552
>muh NSA gag letter boogeymen
You're retarded. Go use some shithole VPN with awful speeds made even worse by 256 because you don't use the PIA client.

This is your final (You). If I wanted to talk to /x/ I would be on /x/.
>>
>>53506605
>implying US has the fastest internet
Don't you get it, burgerland is a 3rd world shithole country, even though we're speaking about where the VPN based-on not the location of the servers.
