There are 2 kinds of people. Ones who believe in numbers and others who believe in newer tech. But in the end it all comes down to fps count.
So which one is better for 3d graphics?

please no, NO! Not those faggots!
>>
>>53489030
The 570 is literally a rebranded 480 with gimped memory. You do the math.
>>
>>53489030
Get a 650 ti sex boost you /v/irgin
>>
>>53489101
Nice. but prices here are fucked up.
480GTX/570 - 400 to 450
560GTX - 250
660GTX - 500
650ti - 330

>>53489215
looks nice but CUDA cores to ROP ratio is fucked up when compared with 570gtx
>>
>>53489354
Why so expensive?
Get AMD unless you need cuda.
>>
>>53489354
How much is 750Ti?
>>
And im looking for used cards. So my mindset is basically like this-
Either buy 660gtx or something up to half its price(brand new maybe), because anything for more than 200zł is money wasted because this junk can stop working any moment.
>>53489384
I had once 7970 i believe(some high end card) but i had to return it.When under load it got artifacts and screen turned black. I had to untight screws on radiator to make it work but still, temps were above 90C. But if its pricewise around 560gtx then im open to suggestions.
>>53489496
New 750ti costs at least 500zł
>>
how much for a gtx 660?

a 660 is roughly on par with the 480 and much more power efficient.

comparison here: http://anandtech.com/bench/product/1135?vs=1039

you can also compare the 560 ti there.
>>
>>53489546
nevermind, saw didn't see the post. those prices are way fucked up. that's for used?
>>
>>53489534
750Ti Its better than 660, I would go for it if I was you.
Well, at least get the 650Ti Boost. Remind:
>GTX650Ti Boost 2GB > GTX560Ti > GTX 650Ti Boost 1GB > GTX 560 >> GTX 650Ti >>> GTX650.
480GTX is shit, like really shit (over 90C on idle).
>>
>>53489635
>750Ti Its better than 660
it's not though. 660 is like 15% or so faster.
>>
>>53489534
>200zł
>zł

Go clean more toilets Polak, maybe then you can afford a new gpu.
>>
>>53489676
Consider AAA games, new tech, new drivers and specially tessellation and non-blower model.
Yes, in general it is.
>>
>>53489546
Damn those load temps. I believe this kills 480gtx quickly.
>>53489600
Yep, all prices are for used GPUs

Thats also very usefull website for looking up performance tiers http://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/gpu-hierarchy,4388.html

And for me its pretty decided. I can get 560 for 230zł. Im gonna wait till 660gtx prices gonna drop a lot.
But can someone give me alternatives from AMD to digest?

>>53489706
Nice one senpai, but you missed by 360°. I am 21, still in highschool(will drop soon) and living with my grandparents. Long live the Neets! Last thing i want to do in life is to clean toilets or work at all.
>>
>>53489771
>Damn those load temps.
yeah, the 480 was the card that spawned the house fire jokes. very hot and power hungry card.
>>
No input on Radeons?
I found 2 sweet deals on Asus Radeon HD 6950 DirectCUII and XFX HD 5870 for the price of 560gtx
>>
>>53489546
I like how they compared Double precision performance. It shows that they didn't pulled rest of benchmarks out of their asses.
>>53489709
>non-blower model.
Anyone buys that anyway?
>>
>>53490077
They're about the same.

If you can grab pretty much any HD78xx or 79xx for that price though, it's a huge improvement.
>>
>>53489030
I don't even know what new tech is stuffed into new cards. Only ones I can think of are direct x, open gl/al, physix and tessellation tech. It must be something like new instruction sets in CPUs.
>>
>>53490077
unless you have a really fast intel cpu you should probably skip amd cards.
>>
The 560GTX was only good because it was cheap and it could run Battlefield 3.
