How old were you when you realized the best distro was right there in front of you the whole time?

Pre hacked mint is better
>>53485534
Deepin / Depth OS is better.
>>53485579

>>53485534

Living the meme

Some time ago I tried terminology terminal, it felt great, so I moved to enlightement on mint. It feels a lot like linux in 2007, a lot of cool stuff thrown together into a nice package.

I was 17. Loved ubuntu. Then they raped it.. Now I'm 26 and can't stand how hideous the ui looks. The last ubuntu that I used and loved was 10.10

Thanks. What os do you use?
>>53485579
this is not your desktop.
>>53489351
Same here. Switched to Mint, now I'm happy using Kubuntu.
>>53485534
Used Ubuntu for a while, but wanted to be less limited + less botnet, more customize and performance, so I switched to Debian recently. Actually found it comfier once I disabled the PC beep and configured my programs
>>53487920
windowmaker is just so clunky though
i wish there was a simpler clone of nextstep's GUI without all the suck
>>53485534
23, I stopped hating and realized the simplicity and robustness of OS X.
P.S
Still use other *NIX-like OSes on server and Windows exclusively for games
>>53489612
I can't get kubuntu to be stable. Always end up going back to xfce
Ubooongoo is ok
But manjaro is better
>install sopcast and acestream from aur
>sheeeeeet actually installs and werx
>but Ubooongoo is ok
i only use lubuntu because slackware doesn't have a usb installer, hardware is too old to compile gentoo without dying, and solaris can't into application support or patches
otherwise why don't you realize you're just using gnu/linux/debian
