What phone does /g/ rock these days? im 19 and i had a nexus 6 w sprint. last weekend my parents switched to at&t and i thought all the phones in there were shit so i kept my nexus 6 and the data speeds (where I am) tripled almost everywhere. why do phone stores now only sell shit mainstream phones with shitty android skins? Not to mention none of their phone screens are as big as mine. ive had htc inspire, samsung gs2 galaxy nexus blackberry torch 9800 iphone 3gs lg g2 and the nexus 6 is by far my favorite. my only phone that i havent rooted yet? anyone here have a rooted nexus 6?

i used to browse xda daily and try all the new roms on my inspire and s2 mostly. my favorites are the cm nightlys.
My parents nexus 4 and 5 were shit for me regarding Internet browsing. Took me literally 2 minutes to load ncix
On the other hand, my Xperia T3 is pretty good and very. Only problem is low ram

-never had games on it to begin with
-have shitloads of music on it
-have 60 books on it
-email app that notifies me of all messages
-everything is zippy fast
The stock camera is fucking shit, though. Open camera works really well but since it's a third party app, there is UI lag.
Over 9.5/10 phone for me and my uses. 250 new for it was worth it for me.

A ZTE Z740G upgraded to 4.4.4 with a broken (read missing) flash and headphone jack. Still an amazing phone and would replace with the same phone again.

Fellow nexus 6 user here. I'm running Cyanogenmod 13 nightlies, plus xposed. I've have this thing tuned perfectly for battery life and performance.
I fucking love this phone and it's by far the best one I've ever owned.

I have a moto g 2014 and I have all the stuff I need:
-micro sd, currently 64gb powered
-dual sim (never used more than one though)
-5 inches screen
-lots of custom rom
I really don't need nothing else, it just works, it's smooth (running marshmallow), it's stable, battery lasts at least 2 days of heavy use (about 5 hours of screen on time).
If you don't need to play games on your smartphone, 1gb of ram it's enough to rock.
