no, and I have a cockroach dead on my keyboard for 2 years at least now.
Nope, never

What's his name?
I just cleaned mine.
Threw it in the sink after removing the keys and washed the fuck out of it.

Cant take a shot, my wife will make me clean the keyboard then.
I clean mine twice a year. I don't want to do it more often than that because I'm worried that prying off the keycaps more often is rough on the sliders.
What's the best way to clean soft PBT caps without damaging them or their texture?
Just straight up rinse them with tap water?

Actually having a wife. Fuck off
>>53475231
I don't even want to know. It's 7+ years old at least.
Also, removing all they keys looks like a pain in the ass and it still works, so why bother doing anything but wiping the keys once in a while?

I had to use compressed air because my idiot dad forgot to put something over my computer when he was painting and my keyboard was full of dust.
I keep my hands clean so I don't really need to clean my keyboards.
>>53482235
Why didn't you cover it yourself if he was painting?
>be edgy teen
>angry at parents in their house because you don't think for yourself.
>>53475231
Pretty often, I'll also take off the keys and clean everything from time to time.
K70 user here.
I remember that I used a keyboard filled with Ramen for 2 more years when I was 15. It didn't work first but when it dried this changed.

I wipe the keycaps down with a cleaning cloth once a week, and individually clean the keycaps and keyboard with IPA and a microfibre cloth once every month or two.
What's the best way to clean those grifiti wrist pads everyone on /g/ seems to have?
>>53475231
Yep. Annual stripdown. I bought my first mech, a cheap mx black, purely for enjoyment of typing, but the first time I cleaned it a couple months ago I was astounded at how easy it is to take apart and reassemble everything. It was a joy to work on.

I even told him to do it. I wasn't at home when he was painting.
