A flickerfree variable refresh rate display with CRT image quality and flexibility but LCD sizes.
I'm a 4:3 guy but hope 21:9 becomes the norm. 16:9 was a mistake.

The fact that it has been used like that doesn't make it correct. If I started calling smartphones dicks, until the day I die, and I convinced my sons to do the same, would dicks be an acceptable word for smartphones because it's been used for over a hundred years.

I love 4:3 but I fail to comprehend how you would rather jump to 21:9 rather than just stick with 16:9.

21:9 is two 4:3 side by side while 16:9 is one and a half or so.

Okay that makes sense, although when I had a dual display setup I really preferred to keep one front and center and one off to the side. I think it would be awkward having such a wide, flat display, because everything gets to be at such an angle towards the sides. I suppose a curved design can fix that but I'm not sure I'd be into that either.

Flat panel display with resolution-independent quality, even lighting, 180° viewing angle, and inability to burn in like CRT and OLED do.
