Great hardware on the inside. Not the best software because of the lovely system known as TouchWiz. I have this phone, currently, my recommendation is Package Disabler Pro at the least and then a launcher if you would like. Package Disabler Pro is an awesome app I recently found that can disable/remove any app, widget, process and or folder installed to the phone without the need of root. It automatically detects bloatware, highlighted in pink, and if you're smarter than the average Joe you can go even further in depth. PDP along with a cool theme or launcher, I can promise a whole new feel, outlook and design for the new GS7 or GS7E. Respond if you will. Have a great night! :-D

I quite like it. After two years of subpar 200€phones, it feels great. The screen is impressive, it's fast and it feels solid. As for the battery I can't tell much since it's only been two days and I've been constantly using it or trying the Gear VR, but it seems good.
Base Touchjizz is less awful than before, but any launcher will be superior since you can customize it the way you want.

Dont own this phone inparticular but do have my S6 edge. The main thing I love about this phone is the gorilla glass 4, dropped my phone on concrete, gravel, loads of shit, its never even scratched. Happy to see them bring that feature back. Gives it the edge (pun) over iphones awful screens that smash every time you put it in your pocket

Yes. I have the GS7. Battery life is amazing with this 300mah baterry. I'm a power user as well. I haven't had it for very long, just three days, yet these past few days I've seen on average 5.5-6 hours of screen on time. (Remember I've made changes by removing tons of bloat ware using Package Disabler Pro)

Well the fact that they brought back the mSD slut is a huge improvement. I have mixed feelings about the camera being 12MP now, more resolution would have still been better for cropping and photo editing.

Yes I understand. Be careful with what you check, it doesn't confirm. So if you accidentally kill TouchWiz home for instance.. You will disable it and brick your touch screen. There's a way to undo anything of course, but it's very very complicated. Glad to see you used the app! Amazing huh?

You can disable most to all apps and it won't hurt anything. Even things you wouldn't need to disable can be gone, such as phone, gallery and or contacts! That's pushing it, but you get my point. Just experiment (a little) and get rid of obvious bloat ware and go from there. Just make sure to read between the lines and you'll do great.

Beautiful display, amazing build quality, great camera, expandable storage but holy shit battery life for days. I've got 7 hours of screen on and 21 hours of total battery and I'm at fifteen percent.
Is the curved screen on the Edge actually as bad as people are saying? It doesn't seem too bad but im worried about my sausage fingers switching shit while holding it.

Hey shit happens. Hope for the best plan for the worst. For me the bigger issue is that I wear scrubs a ton and have a couple pairs of scrub pants that have no pockets so I'm stuck with putting my phone in the chest pocket of a scrub top. Falls out of it occasionally.
