pass (AKA passwordstore.org)
Stay away from:
- KeePass, KeePassX (bad security)
- LastPass (bad security and also spyware)
- Anything else that hosts your passwords “on the cloud”

Use pass, it's built around GnuPG, pwgen and git. You can't possibly ask for any better tools for the jobs.
keepass

Is it portable and can I use it on Windows machines?
>>53463017
well fuck
>>53458371
Your own memory Anon.
>>53463313
It's just a shell script.
If you get a shell interpreter, GnuPG and git onto windows - yes.
>>53463502
Man that's a shitty user experience. I would literally rather carry a printout
Your own encrypter + your brain
Now if you need a password, you use the single key stored in your brain and put it in your decrypter. You can store different passwords safely this way
Try not to get into an accident or coma though
>>53463565
Yeah, Windows is a pretty shitty user experience as a whole.
>>53463024
yes it is.
According to the statistics made by the US torture guys, it is not a reliable way to extract information.
The documentary series "24" is shockingly close to fiction.
