Me again, the trekstor wintron 7 is a 7 inch windows tablet. I also have a factory rooted(!) android tablet from Denver, a danish company, that cost me like 23 USD works like a charm but does not have USB charging so sucks.

get a tablet that's at least ipad 9.7 inch size. 8 inch tabs are too small imo. the larger size gives you a suitable web experience, and a screen good enough for tv watching. wide resolution movies are a bit too narrow for my liking.
maybe if i win the lotto, id commission a chinatab with snapdragon 650 and a removable battery.
