I'll share my experience and thoughts about razer, of course you will do whatever you want:
Friend gifted me a deathadder (first generation) for my birthday, the mouse lasted for THREE FUCKING YEARS. I felt in love with the mouse, and at the end the wheel click broke.+
Of course I wanted a new one, spent some times reading reviews about the 2014 version, everyone was talking about the shit quality and that it'd break before a year passed.
We are in 2015 and there's a new deathadder, chroma. Decided to buy it.
Less than 2 months later, the wheel click doesn't work anymore. Can't send it back because there are no official razer stores here.
Fuck you razer and your shit quality. Yeah, years ago they were amazing, now they probably realized their products lasted for too long, and decided they needed to make them shittier so people could replace them faster.
Never again I'm buying razer gear.

honestly it all depends on what shape you like, deathadder feels kind of like a smaller intellimouse 3.0; if you like ambidex mice more go for the mamba, not a fan of the mandatroy drivers for key macros but you can snag a 2014 deathadder if you don't mind not being on the spectrum

No forced acceleration at the hardware level, no jitter, no predictionm and it doesn't do that thing where if you shake the mouse, or move it spastically, the cursor doesn't freak out

Yeah I've had my deathadder for 3 years now. The mouse itself works fine, though mouse button 3 has completely stopped working. That isn't TOO bad after three years of continuous usage. Many other mice would have suffered far worse.

i like it, got the castor instead but castor fells smaller than i though, naos has similar shape but larger/wider so might have been a perfect fit. on the software and hardware size it's flawless imo w/ built in memory so i can remove the program once done customizing and linux macros won't be an issue. my one gripe is the color selection isn't very accurate with white looking really pink, if i had time i could probably get a white look by messing with the color values
